Ballerina Gangster

Hallie is our queen of costumes. She puts on at least 10 different dress ups everyday. This is one of my favorite combinations that she has come up with. I just love it all; the crooked hat, the flashlight, the backwards "leadertard" (as Hallie calls it), and the red leg band. Quite the ensemble.

Here is the rear view just because it is so cute.

Sage's End of the Year Dance Recital

We had the great pleasure of going to watch Sage's last dance recital for the year on Saturday. The theme of the recital this time was Dr. Seuss and so all the kids were characters from Dr. Seuss stories. Sage was a Gold fish (the orange and yellow costume) and a Mayzie bird (the blue costume). She did a fabulous job during the show. She looked so darling and it is fun to see her progress at every recital. Even Jason was impressed by how much better she is dancing, and that is saying a lot.
Sage is so cute she came up with all of these poses by herself.

Lost Tooth

We have had a pretty exciting time in our house recently with the coming of Sage's first loose tooth. She has showed every person we come across that she has a loose tooth and of course she has to wiggle it for them. So many loose tooth demonstrations caused the tooth to become very loose. It came as no surprise the other day when we were at the Memory Box to hear Sage scream "My tooth! My Tooth! It came out." She put the tooth under her pillow that night for the Tooth Fairy to come collect. She got $1 for her tiny little tooth. Since then we have had a repeat of showing her mouth to everyone we meet only this time it is to show them the hole where her tooth used to be.
This is the tooth pulling saga in Sage's own words "So first of all I was at the Memory Box and the after it was time to go I was wiggling my tooth. No, my tongue was wiggling my tooth and then by a second after it wiggled it a lot of times it fell right out on my tongue. Actually I really pushed it out with my tongue. And then I said YEAH!. Then when we got home I had to take pictures."
