The Great Egg Hunt

The Easter Bunny visited our house a little later in the day this year. He came while we were at church. Sage couldn't wait to get home to see if the Easter Bunny had come. And luckily he had. It was nice and sunny outside for their hunt, although a little bit cool. Sage and Hallie looked so cute in their Easter dresses during the hunt. Hallie is not actually wearing her Easter dress in the pictures because 5 minutes into nursery today she decided it might be fun to pee all over it. Her diaper wasn't wet but her dress was soaked. She still looked darling in her substitute Easter dress. The kids came away from the hunt with lots of candy, chocolate bunnies, and Easter eggs. Hallie would only let the plastic eggs and real eggs be in her basket. She made Jason carry around the chocolate bunnies for her. Sage was the winner in the amount of goodies collected. Her basket was overflowing. We divided it all up though once we came inside so they both came out with a good amount. It was a fun hunt.
